New comedy night Bright Club hopes to banish nerdy notions

Anyone who has had the pleasure of watching Channel 4’s award-winning US sitcom The Big Bang Theory which centres around the unhinged antics of four nerdy academics will testify that boffins can be funny too.

Now, a new comedy night launching in Cardiff on Monday aims to underline that point – on a whiteboard with a big red marker pen probably.
